Ordering from us

Irises are lifted in the period July-early October and are then dispatched bare root.  Any orders taken are fulfilled at that time and we cannot supply irises at other times. Please note that we can currently deliver only (a) within Italy and destinations within the European Union; or (b) subject to additional conditions, to the UK. Prices are in Euro and we accept payment via Paypal or bank transfer.

As from 2023 we have been able to resume exports to the United Kingdom, but deliveries to the UK will need to enter the country in one batch in late September and be despatched to buyers within the UK only after they have passed phytosanitary inspection.  Therefore UK orders are taken subject to buyers agreeing to that delivery timescale and agreeing to pay any additional import taxes or other charges that the UK authorities may impose on their purchases as well as the cost of onward carriage within the UK. Orders for the UK for delivery in 2024 must be placed by 15 September 2024.  Orders for Italy/European Union for delivery in 2024 must be placed by 13 October 2024.  Orders placed after those dates will not be delivered until the following year.

You can order online through our Online Store or, during May of each year, when we anticipate opening the Display Garden to visitors, you will also be able to place an order in person when visiting the Display Gardens, for delivery the following Autumn.  Please note that outside of the flowering period in May, the nursery site is closed to visitors and sales are solely online.

We are still in the process of loading photos and descriptions into the catalogue for the Online Store.  As yet some 200 or so of our 850 plus varieties are available for sale and we will be adding more of them as our stocks increase.  You can see photos of our full collection of bearded irises in our flickr photo albums.  Please bookmark this site and check again later in the year if the iris you want is not yet showing as available for purchase. Meantime you can browse to see what we have in the collection and visit the Online Store to place orders for those irises that are currently available or to compile your wishlist.
